Bayfield Bear on Ice

This yearling bear was probably kicked out recently by his or her mommy bear. It was first spotted this morning from the ferry floating on an ice floe in the middle of the ferry's path. It floated from Madeline Island (we think) to Basswood then to Bayfield. I have been watching it make its way to Bayfield all day! It finally made it to the ferry landing about 1/2 an hour ago!
