Bayfield Rec Center Polar Bear Plunge 2009

This is my favorite event of the winter in Bayfield! All of us come out dressed in our finest cold weather gear to watch our friends jump into frigid water in sub - zero windchill. We even get hardy souls from all over the midwest who come to jump in to the big lake to help support the Rec Center. This couple from Madison has been at it a few times - and we REALLY appreciate it! I don't think its ever been this cold for the event, so you can tell she really doesn't want to get in! :) These two also were a bit scared :)
