A new year, a new blog... Karla & Mark on the North Shore
The official wedding season began for me this weekend, and so I decided to start a whole new Bayfield wedding photographer's blog - getting rid of the old one. Now, if I can just get my website http://www.stonehousephoto.com/ to behave... :) There have been some server issues the past few weeks, so email me at stonehousephoto (at) gmail.com if you've been trying to see anything!
My first wedding of the season was on the North Shore of Minnesota. I have never shot a wedding there - and I absolutely loved it! Karla and Mark were gorgeous, and their families were wonderful.
There was a huge thunderstorm that passed through the area right before the wedding began, and it made the sky look amazing for the ceremony and afterwords. Here are a few of my favorite shots:
I'll have a slideshow up at the end of this week - there were so many cool ones to choose from, I've given up and just posted these :).

Hi Hannah,
How about a series of photos of locations for weddings around bayfield. the backdrops so to speak?
Hannah...I love your idea for the coffeetable book of Chequemegon Bay "history and personalities." So, how about a group photo of ALL the Bay area priests (especially the Franciscans)? Since the Jesuits were around the Bay 400 years ago (really), these guys represent the area's greatest continuing string of "non-native" history. We love the new photos of the roaster at B&F's and the great wedding photos from the North Shore (beautiful couple, great little kid, fabulous lighting.)...YDWLY
