Carrie and Ian's wedding at Tettegouche State Park

Carrie & Ian's wedding was outside on a lake at Tettegouche State Park by the North Shore. It was incredibly gorgeous! It didn't hurt either that these are two of the funnest people I have ever met and their families are super fun as well :) Carrie and Ian were very willing to run around on the ice and snow to have fun with the camera!

To get to the wedding you parked at the trailhead of the park, and then took a almost two mile hike to the Tettegouche Camp.
The ceremony itself was on Mic Mac Lake. Everyone except the bride and groom were bundled up in big coats, hats, and mittens. Carrie was a bit chilled to say the least, but she looked fantastic!

I tell people I will travel everywhere and anywhere for a wedding, and this is proof that I will go anywhere because I absolutely LOVE what I do!

Photos of me by Marlo Miller!

At Carrie and Ian's wedding on tuesday one of the guests took an awesome shot of me in action! Thank you Marlo for truly showing what I do!

I got a little snowy and wet, but I'll do whatever is needed for a shot lol :)

I cannot fully explain the awesomeness of Carrie & Ian's wedding that took place yesterday afternoon. Photos will follow soon that will explain it all. Let's just say I drove 3 hours north, then hiked in 2 miles to a beautiful winter wonderland. I am a happy, happy girl!

Alisa & Grant's Engagement Photos at the Apostle Islands Ice Caves

Happy (late) Valentine's Day! Yesterday I went to the Apostle Islands Ice Caves to shoot Alisa & Grant's engagement photos. It was beautiful and snowed on and off through out the day. It was also INCREDIBLY icy. Thankfully no one fell over, as all three of us had ice cleats on - however, as Grant, let me know, I had one on backwards. I said I just got more traction that way :)

We hiked about a mile and a half to the caves themselves and explored all around. The colors were amazing - both on the rocks and in the different shades of ice that were cascading down the sides.
I think this shot of them with their ice cleats is one of my favorites :)

I also REALLY like this one - mostly because they were total game for climbing up on ice sheets!
